Strategy Positioning of Pop Music Olski Group Band Increasing Listeners Interest in Yogyakarta

Abstract


This research uses a qualitative descriptive research design to find out how the Olski band positions itself to increase the attention of listeners in Yogyakarta. Olski, a local pop group known for its original songwriting and innovative musical arrangements, uses social media to interact with its fans. Through the use of a branding approach that prioritizes relevant lyrics and interesting material, Olski has succeeded in expanding his follower base beyond conventional demographic boundaries. This research analyzes Olski's achievements in establishing itself as a beloved local band with wide appeal using qualitative methods including observations and interviews with band members and fans.
