THE EFFECT OF SOLVENCY AND WORKING CAPITAL TURNOVER ON PROFITABILITY IN THE MINING SECTOR LISTED ON IDX FOR THE 2017-2020 PERIOD

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Solvency and Working Capital Turnover on Profitability in the mining sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. The population in this study used all mining companies on the IDX as many as 52 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The analytical method used for this study uses the STATA test, namely: descriptivestatistical test, model selection test, R2 test, t test and f test. The results showed that the Solvency had a significant positive effect on profitability. Working Capital Turnover has no significant negative effect on profitability. While the Soolvency and Working Capital Turnover together have a positive and significant effect on profitability.
