The importance of literacy, culture, and society for the golden generation towards the educational era 5.0

Abstract


Currently, the world has entered the era of society 5.0 where all aspects of life use technology, one of which is education. For that, we need good continuity between existing elements. These elements are literacy, culture, and society for the younger generation to welcome the 5.0 education era. Therefore, the researcher conducted "The importance of literacy, culture, and society for the golden generation towards the 5.0 education era". To know how critical literacy, culture, and society are towards the 5.0 Education Era. The method used in the research is the literature study method, which then presents the research results in the form of a description so that the reader quickly understands them.

From research results obtained, elements of literacy, culture, and society are very influential in realizing an adaptive golden generation, increasing individual abilities to be more critical in thinking and understanding information. Digital literacy skills are used as a learning reference in using rapidly growing technology to create future schools or classes. In addition, culture is also needed for how the younger generation behaves towards Indonesian culture. And lastly, community values enable the younger generation to reduce suspicion and unfair treatment, increase the values contained in diversity, and increase participation in the practice of social life without any discrimination in access to education.
