Experiential Learning System To Enhance Business Readiness For Student Entepreneurs

Abstract


Introduction: Ahmad Dahlan University (KBM UAD) entrepreneurship development program based on the digital economy emerged as a response to the growing number of students who have produced innovative ideas but have difficulty pioneering new enterprises. The program aims to create entrepreneurs who are Ahmad Dahlan University students based on e-commerce using the Experiential Learning System (ELS) method. This study aims to test the effectiveness of entrepreneurial development with the Experiential Learning System (ELS) method.

Design/Methods: This research used an experimental method approach. The object of the research focuses on UAD students, who are considered to have readiness in developing businesses. Data analysis was carried out using a paired two-sample distribution test for hypothesis testing.

Findings and Results: The test results show that the Experiential Learning System (ELS) enhanced tenant readiness in developing businesses.

Research Limitation/Implication: This research collected data using a quantitative pre-post questionnaire. The population in this study is UAD students who have a business. It used purposive sampling to select a sample of 20 entrepreneurs. 

Originality/Value: The research was used to evaluate the entrepreneurship development program on campus. It was expected to generate new entrepreneurs with information technology as a base of competitive advantage using the ELS method.
