Clarification of gurindam 12 contained value to improve student humility

Abstract


The Indonesian nation is known as a nation that has a humble character. Currently, the humble character is not directed due to the effects of globalization. The existence of the effect of globalization triggers the emergence of humble problems not only seen from the style of behavior and the style of communication of students. The importance of a humble condition within each individual is inversely proportional to what is currently happening in the international world, especially in our country, Indonesia. This is evidenced by the condition of Indonesia where most people do not have humble behavior but show arrogant behavior. One of the alternative services used by counselors to help raise humility by collaborating in the form of local wisdom is the Clarification of Values with Gurindam 12 content. The Clarification of Values with Gurindam 12 is filled with 5 articles in it, namely a) article 1, b) article 3, c) article 4, d) article 7, e) article 8. The purpose of this research is to help students reach a level of self-humility so that they can implement it every day in their lives. The method in this study is to use a literature review sourced from various journals. The literature review in this study can be the basis and reference for further researchers in testing its acceptability.
