Layanan konseling individu teknik self management dalam mengatasi agresivitas pada mahasiswa korban kekerasan psikis
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya perilaku agresif yang meningkat di kalangan remaja saat ini mendorong penelitian ini. Perilaku agresif merupakan tindak tutur kata yang menghina, meremehkan, mengejek, dan mengancam, dengan membandingkan, hiperbola dan mengulang setiap hal tersebut dengan tujuan untuk menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan dan ketidakharmonisan antar lawan bicara. Dengan adanya perilaku tersebut sangat diperlukan bantuan dari pihak yang sangat memahami sifat dan karakteristik remaja serta cara untuk menanganganinya. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan layanan konseling individu. Konseling individual ini merupakan layanan konseling yang diberikan oleh seorang konselor kepada klien yang melibatkan penggunaan teknik manajemen diri untuk membantu meringankan masalah pribadi klien. Strategi yang memungkinkan individu secara sadar mengelola perilakunya dan mengendalikan faktor perilaku yang ingin mereka ubah melalui konseling individu. Penelitian ini mengukur dampak konseling individu terhadap keterampilan manajemen diri dalam mengatasi agresi pada siswa korban kekerasan psikologis.
