Abstract


Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah menganalisis pentingnya kesiapan teknologi bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling atau konselor. Penggunaan teknologi dalam konseling sekolah adalah topik yang kurang diteliti. Namun, kehadiran teknologi di sekolah tidak dapat dihindari dan terus berkembang. Teknologi bila digunakan dengan tujuan yang jelas dan tepat dapat memperluas jangkauan sekolah dan efisiensi konselor dalam melayani semua siswa sehingga berkontribusi terhadap prestasi siswa secara keseluruhan. Kemajuan teknologi dalam beberapa dekade terakhir telah mengubah bingkai pendidikan dan meningkatkan peluang bagi para pendidik untuk merangkul teknologi demi kemajuan pembelajaran serta peningkatan produktivitas. Penggunaan media sosial hampir universal di kalangan remaja dan dewasa muda. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka dinilai penting untuk membuat suatu kebijakan yang harapannya dengan kebijakan tersebut mampu menumbuhkan kesiapan guru bimbingan dan konseling atau konselor dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pada pelaksanaan layanan secara daring.
