PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN DAN SISTEM INFORMASI AKUNTANSI TERHADAP MINAT MAHASISWA MENJADI YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine the influence of Entrepreneurship Education and knowledge about Accounting Information Systems on students' interest in becoming young entrepreneurs in the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Business, Duta Wacana Christian University (PSA FB UKDW). Entrepreneurship Education equips students to become entrepreneurs amidst business and technological developments. The research population consists of students from the PSA FB UKDW. Then, the research sample is selected using purposive random sampling. The consideration for sample selection is students who have taken Entrepreneurship and Accounting Information Systems (AIS) courses. The total sample size is 87 students. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that first, Entrepreneurship Education conducted by PSA FB UKDW has a positive influence on students' interest in becoming young entrepreneurs. The second conclusion is that knowledge about Accounting Information Systems also has a positive influence on students' interest in becoming young entrepreneurs.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh Pendidikan Kewirausahaan dan pengetahuan tentang Sistem Informasi Akuntansi terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk menjadi pengusaha muda (young entrepreneur) di Program Studi Akuntansi Fakultas Bisnis Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (PSA FB UKDW). Pendidikan Kewirausahaan memberikan bekal kepada mahasiswa untuk menjadi pengusaha di tengah perkembangan bisnis dan teknologi. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa PSA FB UKDW. Kemudian, sampel penelitian dipilih secara purposive random sampling. Pertimbangan dalam pemilihan sampel adalah mahasiswa yang telah mengambil mata kuliah Kewirausahaan dan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA). Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 87 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertama, Pendidikan Kewirausahaan yang diadakan oleh PSA FB UKDW berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk menjadi pengusaha muda. Kesimpulan kedua adalah, pengetahuan tentang Sistem Informasi Akuntansi juga memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk menjadi pengusaha muda.
