Komponen Karakter Baik Tokoh Anak dalam Novel Dru dan Kisah Lima Kerajaan Karya Clara Ng
Abstract
This study is motivated by the existence of children's literature, which can be a supporting medium for children's character development. Because the presence of children's literature itself inserts many messages or moral values that can be obtained by the readers. One is that children's literature can be used as an educational medium to teach them what is good and bad, right, and wrong, so that it can be applied in everyday life. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out what are the messages or moral values in the form of good character components contained in children's literature, the novel "Dru dan Kisah Lima Kerajaan" by Clara Ng. The method used for this research is the descriptive-qualitative method, and the results of the analysis will be described in the form of paragraph sentences. The data analysis is supported by the theory of good character components proposed by Thomas Lickona. From the results of the analysis that has been done, 4 aspects were found in the moral knowledge component, 4 aspects in the moral feeling component, and 1 aspect in the moral action component.
