Penggunaan dan Pemaknaan Interjeksi pada Judul Berita Media Daring

Abstract


An interesting linguistic phenomenon in writing news headlines is the use of interjection. The aim of this research is to describe the use and meaning of interjection in online media news headlines. This research is categorized as descriptive qualitative research. The research sources used by the research are online media news. The theory used is the interjection theory from Kridalaksana (2007). The data collection process uses simak method through simak catat technique. Then, the analysis method used is agih method with BUL (bagi unsur langsung) technique. The results of the research found 18 data with 13 interjection words, i.e. viral, simak, waspada, ngeri, sah which appear twice in data source, and duh, pecah, terungkap, miris, gaspol, heboh, stagnan, lagi which appear once in data source. All of the interjections appear in the initial as the emphasis of news headlines. The meaning of the 18 data includes warning, surprise, admiration, worry, confirmation of a situation or person, conclusion, and surprise.
