Peran Self Efficacy Terhadap Grit Melalui Self-Regulated Learning Sebagai Mediator

Abstract


Kesuksesan seseorang tidak hanya dilihat dari kecerdasan semata, namun juga dilihat dari upaya yang dilakukan. Pada mahasiswa untuk menunjang kesuksesan akademik maupun non akademik diperlukannya kegigihan (grit) yaitu kerja keras dan sikap pantang menyerah dalam mencapai apa yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran self-effficacy terhadap grit melalui self-regulated learning sebagai mediator. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kuantitatif, desain penelitian survei, dengan metode cross sectional study. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 238 mahasiswa terdiri dari 36,13% laki-laki dan 63,87% Perempuan (Usia M= 19,72 tahun; SD= 1,19). Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala grit, skala self-efficacy, dan skala self-regulated learning yang diunggah melalui google form. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis mediasi dengan program software JASP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-regulated learning memiliki peran terhadap grit secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, yang menjelaskan parsial mediasi dalam hubungannya. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa penting bagi bidang pendidikan berfokus dalam mengembangkan keterampilan self-regulated learning pada mahasiswa, yang diharapkan mampu memperkuat peran self-efficacy terhadap grit untuk mencapai tujuan jangka panjang.
