Dinamika Psikologis Adaptasi Mualaf Pada Etnis Tionghoa
Abstract
Problem mualaf etnis Tionghoa adalah kemampuan melakukan adaptasi di lingkungan sebelumnya maupun lingkungan baru pada komunitas beragama Islam. Berlatarbelakang masalah ini penelitian bertujuan menemukan dinamika psikologis adaptasi mualaf pada etnis Tionghoa, sehingga bermanfaat menyesuaikan dengan beragam situasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Teknik penggambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling diperoleh 3 subjek. Adapun teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur dan data dianalisis melalui cara melakukan transkrip wawancara, menjalankan identifikasi pernyataan subjek, mengkategorikan tema, membangun deskripsi mengenai pengalaman subjek, menyatukan deskripsi dari tema, dan bagian akhir melakukan validasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kategori tema terdiri dari afektif, kemandirian, penyesuaian sosial dan tanggung jawab. Empat kategori tema tersebut membentuk kemampuan adaptasi pada mualaf etnis Tionghoa.
