Hubungan antara harga diri dan dukungan sosial orang tua dengan optimisme pada siswa SMK
Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between self-esteem and parental social support with optimism of vocational students. This research is quantitative research. The study population was 216 students of SMK Negeri 1 Wonosobo with samples using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection methods using optimism scale, self-esteem scale, and parental social support scale. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis techniques with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 program.The results of the analysis of the major hypothesis r value of 0.597, and a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.01) which means there is a very significant relationship, the first minor hypothesis obtained an r value of 0.395 with a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.01) which means there is a very significant positive relationship. The second minor hypothesis obtained an r value of 0.256 with a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.01) which means there is a very significant positive relationship. The effective contribution of self-esteem and parental social support is 35.624% to optimism. The conclusion of this study is that there is a very significant relationship between self-esteem and parental social support with optimism in students of SMK Negeri 1 Wonosobo. There is a very significant positive relationship between self-esteem and optimism. There is a very significant positive relationship between parental social support and optimism.
