Inovasi Pembelajaran Matematika oleh Guru SMP Negeri Reroroja

Abstract


Inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran yang beragam, sehingga penelitian inovasi pembelajaran matematika oleh guru sangat penting untuk mendorong pemerataan kualitas Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana inovasi pembelajaran matematika yang telah dilaksanakan oleh guru Matematika di SMP Negeri Reroroja Maumere yang ditinjau dari aspek pengembangan profesional, aspek kolaborasi dan dukungan sejawat, aspek ketersediaan sumber daya, aspek kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, serta aspek penggunaan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Angket ini diisi oleh guru Matematika SMP Negeri Reroroja sejumlah tiga orang, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan wawancara untuk mendapatkan informasi lain yang tidak didapatkan atau untuk memperkuat jawaban dari angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah berpartisipasi di berbagai kegiatan pengembangan profesional yang berfokus pada praktik pengajaran namun penerapannya masih sangat kurang. Guru matematika SMP Negeri Reroroja merupakan anggota Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Matematika di Kabupaten Sikka. Dalam pengembangan profesional, guru kurang didukung dengan ketersediaan sumber daya yang memadai. Dalam aspek kepemimpinan kepala sekolah masih dirasa kurang adanya pelatihan terhadap guru mengenai pembelajaran yang inovatif di sekolah. Penerapan teknologi dalam praktik mengajar matematika tergolong kurang.
