Abstract

Abstract — The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school (SD) students who received Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) -Contextual learning. The learning was implemented by elementary teachers of PGRI members in the Cisurupan sub-district of Garut district after attending the CAI-Contextual learning training conducted by the author. The training was funded by the Director General of Research and Technology DRPM. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), the subject of research is grade V elementary school students, and the data collection instrument is a test kit for students' ability to perform integer count operations. The results of the study prove that CAI-Contextual learning implemented by the workshop participant teachers can improve student learning outcomes. This is proven by the tendency for a consistent increase from one cycle to the next. From these results it can be concluded that CAI-Contextual learning is effective in achieving students' mathematical learning completeness.
