MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBENTUK KATA DARI RANGKAIAN HURUF DENGAN MEDIA BIJI-BIJIAN PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B DI TK IT INSAN MULIA

Abstract


This research was carried out with the aim of improving early literacy skills, especially in forming words through
a series of letters using grain media in Insan Mulia IT Kindergarten. This type of research is classroom action
research (CAR). The subjects were children of group B at Insan Mulia IT Kindergarten, totaling 9 children. The
CAR design uses the Hopkins model which includes planning, action and observation, and reflection. Data
collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative
descriptive statistics. The results showed an increase in the percentage of learning activities and learning
outcomes. This can be seen from the results of observations of children's learning abilities in cycles I, II and III.
In the first cycle the results of the child's ability reached 60%, in the second cycle the results were 75% and in the
third cycle the results reached 95%. The results of children's abilities can be seen from the results of children's
abilities from pre-action activities and each cycle, namely in the pre-action by 35%, in the first cycle by 60%,
while in the second cycle it is 75% and the third cycle is 95%.
