Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Kelas I SD Negeri Bleber 1 Prambanan Melalui Penerapan Media Power Point Interaktif

Abstract


This classroom action research was conducted to improve the quality of the practice of the learning
process which is not optimal yet. The research aims to improve students' reading skills through the application of
interactive power point learning media for the first grade students at Bleber 1 Prambanan State Elementary School
in academic year 2020/2021. The data collection techniques are documents, observations, tests, and field notes.
The data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed an increase in the reading ability of the
first grade students at Bleber 1 Prambanan State Elementary School. The percentage increased from Cycle I to
Cycle Il is 41.67%. Students who are in the criteria of very well developed in Cycle I is 25%, and in Cycle II is
75%. Based on the result, it is concluded that the application of interactive power point learning media can improve
students' reading skills of the first grade in distance learning during the pandemic at Bleber 1 Prambanan State
Elementary School on the content of the Indonesian language lesson Theme 8 Peristiwa Alam.
