(1) How is the application of audio-visual media in improving student learning outcomes in class IV SDN
Pasarsenen in the 2021/2022 school year? (2) Can the application of audio-visual media in the fourth grade of
SDN Pasarsenen for the academic year 2021/2022 improve student learning outcomes? This research has several
objectives; (1) Describe the application of audio-visual media in improving student learning outcomes in class IV
SDN Pasarsenen in the academic year 2021/2022. (2) Improve student learning outcomes in class IV at SDN
Pasarsenen in the academic year 2021/2022 with audio-visual media. This research is a classroom action research
(Classroom Action Research). This classroom action research (CAR) model has four stages in each cycle, namely
(1) Planning (plan), (2) Action (act), (3) Observation (observe), (4) Reflection (reflect). Based on the results of
research that has been carried out at the Pasarsenen State Elementary School using audio-visual media for class
IV students in the first semester of the 2021/2022 school year, the following conclusions are obtained; (1) There
was an increase in the average student learning outcomes after the action was taken. In the first cycle the average
student learning outcomes were 63.93, in the second cycle the average student learning outcomes were 71.07 and
in the third cycle the average student learning outcomes was 86.61. This increase has exceeded the target of the
research success indicator, namely the average student learning outcome of 80. (2) There was an increase in the
mastery of student learning outcomes after the action was taken. In the first cycle the completeness of student
learning outcomes is 62.06%, in the second cycle the completeness of student learning outcomes is 79.31% and in
the third cycle the completeness of student learning outcomes is 86.20%. This increase has exceeded the target
indicator of research success, namely the completeness of student learning outcomes by 85%.
