MENINGKATKAN KETRAMPILAN MENULIS TEKS PROSEDUR MENGGUNAKAN METODE DISKUSI

Abstract


This research was motivated by a decline in writing skills at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Ngaringan, Grobogan Regency,
especially in class IX students. The purpose of this study was to improve writing skills and learning outcomes of
class IX students of SMPN 3 Satu Atap Ngaringan. This research uses project based learning method. By using 6
children as respondents, this effort showed significant results from many students who previously still got low
scores in writing test procedures at the end of the cycle, namely cycle 2, increasing 100% above the threshold. In
conclusion, by using discussion media, the writing skills of SMPN 3 Satu Atap Ngaringan students improved,
especially in writing procedural texts.
