MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERHITUNG MELALUI BERMAIN WAYANG ANGKA ANAK KELOMPOK B DI TK ABA MANDUNGAN PIYUNGAN BANTUL

Abstract


This research was motivated by the low increase in numeracy skills and totaling 1-20 group B of
TK ABA Mandungan. Students who are said to be complete in increasing counting and adding up
from 1-20 are only 30%. This study aims to determine the application of playing puppet numbers
in improving the numeracy skills of group B children in TK ABA Mandungan. The method used is
classroom action research, with Kurt Lewin's model. Consists of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II.
This research has 4 stages, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. One cycle is
carried out for 1 day with the subject of all TK B TK ABA Mandungan totaling 5 people. The
results of the research in the first cycle, the average student has not developed as expected. While
in the second cycle the average student has developed very well compared to the first cycle. It can
be concluded that the use of number puppet play activities can improve numeracy skills
