UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN SISWA DAN KEDISIPLINAN DALAM PENGUMPULAN TUGAS DENGAN PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI GOOGLE CLASSROOM DI KELAS IB SD MUHAMMADIYAH KARANGPLOSO

Abstract


This research was carried out to increase student activity and discipline in collecting assignments with the Google
Classroom application for class 1B SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso. This type of research is classroom action
research (CAR). The subjects were grade 1B SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso, which consisted of 20 children.
The CAR design used is the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model which includes planning, action, observation, and
reflection. The data collection technique uses observation and tests. The analysis used quantitative and qualitative
descriptive statistics. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in the percentage
of student activity and discipline, namely an increase in the activity of class IB students at SD Muhammadiyah
Karangploso from 25% in the pre-cycle stage to 40% in the first cycle, and an increase in student discipline in
collecting assignments from 30% to 50% in the first cycle. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the activeness of class
IB students at SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso increased from 40% in the first cycle to 70% in the second cycle,
and the increase in student discipline in collecting assignments from 50% to 70%. %. Thus, it can be concluded
that the use of the Google Classroom application can increase student activity and the discipline of collecting
assignments in class IB students at SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso for the 2020/2021 school year
