Abstract


Efforts to increase student motivation and learning outcomes through Problem Based Learning Models in Class
V SD Negeri Ragatunjung 05 Paguyangan District Brebes Regency Academic Year 2021 / 2022. The population
in this study were fifth grade students at SDN Ragatunjung 05 Paguyangan District, Brebes Regency, totaling 9
students. The problem faced by the fifth grade students of SDN Ragatunjung 05 Paguyangan District, Brebes
Regency for the 2021/2022 Academic Year is the low motivation and student learning outcomes. Through
Classroom Action Research, the author makes learning improvements using the Problem Based Learning model.
The implementation of the improvement was carried out in two cycles, in the pre-cycle of students who had not
completed 13 students from 18 students with a completeness rate of 28%, the first cycle of students who had not
completed 9 students from 18 students with a completeness level of 50%, and in the second cycle the level of
completeness reached 89% , only 2 out of 18 students have not completed. Thus the use of the Problem Based
Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fifth graders at SDN Ragatunjung 05, Paguyangan District,
Brebes Regency for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
