MENULIS TEKS DESKRIPTIF DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS X TKJ SMK PUSPA JATI

Abstract


Based on the observations that the authors made during English learning activities in Class X Computer and
Network Engineering (TKJ) Puspa Jati Kebumen Vocational School, the authors saw that the learning outcomes
of students in class X Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) SMK Puspa Jati Kebumen, in making descriptive
texts text is still not maximized. Based on these problems, the authors feel the need to take a concrete step that
aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in class X Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) at Puspa
Jati Kebumen Vocational School on descriptive text material. Alternative problem solving that the author chose
in the implementation of this research is to carry out learning activities using problem based learning. This type
of research is classroom action research. The data sources in this study were 10 students of class X Computer and
Network Engineering (TKJ) SMK Puspa Jati Kebumen. The data to be collected comes from tests, observations,
interviews, and field notes. The results showed that learning using Problem Based Learning can increase student
interest so that student learning outcomes in descriptive text material also increase. In the implementation of cycle
1, the percentage of learning completeness was obtained as much as 80% increased to 100% in the implementation
of cycle II.
