Abstract


Ability to compose ABC pattern with looseparts media group A PL Bernardus Kindergarten:
Study of Early Childhood Education PPG PAUD Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta, 2021.
Supervisor: Dr. Yuz. The researcher and teacher in Group A at PL Bernardus Kindergarten
aims to improve the ability to compose ABC patterns with looseparts media. This research is
a Classroom Action Research conducted in three cycles of 60 – 90 minutes per cycle, because
the learning area was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that only 5 children
participated in learning. The research uses various teaching materials, namely: real media,
videos and worksheets. The data was taken by using a checklist technique. Assessment,
observation. The subjects of the study were the children of Group A of PL Bernardus
Kindergarten. Data collection techniques through observation and assignment techniques,
qualitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that in compiling the ABC pattern using
looseparts media it showed an increase in the results so that it affected the cognitive
development process, the creations of group A children.
