UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI MELALUI LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KLASIKAL METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI SMA NEGERI 1 AESESA

Abstract


The results of the analysis of student needs assessments carried out through the distribution of student needs
questionnaires obtained data that almost 90% of students of SMA Negeri 1 Aesesa have a lack of confidence.
Efforts to grow self-confidence start from within oneself, recognize and be aware of their weaknesses so that an
effort is needed to increase self-confidence, including using the problem based learning method. This study aims
to obtain an overview of students' self-confidence before and after receiving classical guidance services with
problem based learning techniques and to prove that classical guidance services with problem based learning
methods can increase students' confidence. The subjects of this study were students of Social Studies 2 class XI
SMA Negeri 1 Aesesa for the academic year 2021/2022. This research is a Guidance and Counseling Action
Research which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, implementation,
observation, and reflection. This research was conducted with 2 cycles, each cycle carried out 1 action. The results
of the pre-test showed that 2 students were in the low category, 11 students were in the medium category, and 2
students were in the high category. After taking action, it showed an increase in students' understanding in
increasing their confidence through classical guidance services with the problem based learning method for class
XI IPS 2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Aesesa, as evidenced by 15 students in the high category with scores equal
to/above 90.
