MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS SURAT LAMARAN PEKERJAAN DALAM BAHASA NGGRIS DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS XII AKL 1 SMK BATIK PERBAIKPURWOREJO TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/ 2022

Abstract

Based on the result of the observation in the teaching learning process in XII AKL 1 SMK Batik Perbaik Purworejo,
the writer found that there was 50% of students get score under Minimize Criteria Score (KKM). The purpose of
this study is to improve learning outcomes and students motivation using the Problem Based Learning learning
model in writing an application letter. This classroom action research was conducted in SMK Batik Perbaik
Purworejo, Jl. KHA Dahlan No. 14 Purworejo. The amount of the population is 12 students of XII AKL 1. This
research was conducted in 2 cycles and each cycle consisted of one meeting. The stages in each cycle consist of
planning, action, observation and reflection. For data collection sourced from tests, observations, interviews, and
field notes. The resultsshowed that learning using the Problem Based Learning learning model can increase
students score and motivation in writing application letter. In the first meeting, there is only 50 % of students got
score over 70, and on the second meeting or second cyclus, the percetage was increase to be 80 % of students got
score over 70.
