PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS 6 SD NEGERI 7 KEBUMEN

Abstract


The implementation of thematic learning carried out by teachers is still mostly teacher-centered, so that students
are not active when taking lessons. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in
student learning outcomes in grade 6 SD Negeri 7 Kebumen through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning
model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The CAR model used is the spiral of C. Kemmis
and Mc Taggart. The research procedure uses at least 2 cycles with a note that if each cycle shows an increase
in learning outcomes, each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions and observations, and reflection.
Data collection techniques using test and non-test techniques. The research instrument was in the form of
questions and observation sheets. The results of the study showed that the Problem Based Learning model had an
effect on the learning outcomes of 6th grade students at SD Negeri 7 Kebumen. It can be concluded that the
Problem Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes. The implications of this
research have an impact on an active and fun learning atmosphere so that it can improve student learning
outcomes.
