PENGGUNAAN METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS III SDN 2 TAMANWINANGUN

Abstract


The learning outcomes achieved by the third grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tamanwinangun have not yet
reflected an ideal success. The application of problem based learning is carried out to improve student learning
outcomes in class III SD Negeri 2 Tamanwinangun semester 1 for the 2021/2022 academic year, with a total of
10 students as research subjects. Problem based learning is learning that uses real problems in everyday life
(authentic) that is open to be solved by students and develops thinking skills, problem solving skills, social skills,
skills for independent learning. And develop or acquire new knowledge. Collecting data through tests,
observations, projects and documentation. From the results of classroom action research analyzed descriptively
qualitatively, it shows that the application of problem based learning in learning activities can improve student
learning outcomes. Pre-cycle the average value of students only reached 68.00. In the first cycle it increased to
73.50 and in the second cycle it increased to 85.25. The conclusion from the results of the data above is that the
application of problem based learning to the third grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tamanwinangun increased
significantly.
