PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK TEMA 1 SUBTEMA 3 KELAS III SDN JATISARI 03 TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

Abstract


This Classroom Action Research was carried out to increase the activeness and cognitive learning outcomes of
theme 1 sub-theme 3 in class III students at SDN Jatisari 03. Researchers applied the Problem Based Learning
model to realize these two things. The subjects of this study were 10 third grade students at SDN Jatisari 03,
consisting of three boys and seven girls. The data collection technique of this research was carried out
systematically using active observation questionnaires and formative tests. Based on the learning observations in
the first cycle, the level of activeness and learning outcomes of students reached 50% with the average value of
cognitive learning outcomes reaching 65.5. In the second cycle, researchers by applying the Problem Based
Learning (PBL) model adapted to the results of the reflection of the first cycle were able to increase the activities
and learning outcomes of students up to 83.3%, with an average value of learning outcomes reaching 83.3. The
strengthening of learning with the problem based learning (PBL) learning model was carried out in the second
cycle, the positive impact of this was able to increase the activeness of students, namely 83.3% of the number of
class III students who were declared active both in learning and got a score more than or equal to the KKM. With
the findings and observations from the first cycle to the second cycle, there was a dominant increase and reached
the success indicators set by the researcher. Based on this, the researchers concluded that the application of the
problem-based learning model in learning theme 1 sub-theme 3 in class III SDN Jatisari 03 could increase the
activeness and cognitive learning outcomes of students.
