PENINGKATAN HASUL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DI KELAS 6 SD NEGERI SUNGAI JARING KABUPATEN AGAM

Abstract


The background for selecting the project-based learning model is an effort to improve the learning outcomes of
6th grade students at SD Negeri 32 Sungai Jaring, Lubuk Basung District, Agam Regency in thematic learning.
This research is an activity to measure the effectiveness of the project based learning model in a thematic learning
packaged with Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles.
Research data in the form of observations and actions as well as test results. The source of research data is in the
form of the process and results of implementing thematic learning using a project based learning (PJBL) learning
model. This research was carried out in the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, the research procedure
consisted of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this research activity were 20
students in grade 6 SD Negeri 32 Sungai Jaring. This research was conducted by offline or face-to-face learning.
The results showed that there was a significant increase in the learning outcomes of 6th graders at SD Negeri 32
Sungai Jaring in learning. This is indicated by the increase in student learning mastery which was originally only
9.09% in pre-cycle activities to 36.36% in cycle 1 and 90.91% in cycle 2. In addition, the average value also
increased starting from pre-cycle 52, 73, in cycle 1 it becomes 60.91 and in cycle 2 it becomes 85.45. Based on
these data, it can be concluded that project based learning can improve student learning outcomes so that it can
be applied by classroom teachers and can be used as a reference in carrying out subsequent studies
