MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA YANG SESUAI KARAKTERISTIK ANAK
Abstract
study were grade 1 students at SD Negeri Karangwetan Karangmojo with a total of 6 people. The object of this
research is the improvement of students' reading skills. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The
validity of the data used is source triangulation and method triangulation. The data analysis technique is
quantitative and qualitative analysis. The data collection technique used was Test and Observation. The results of
the first cycle of action obtained an average value of 69 with a 50% completeness percentage. The results of the
second cycle of action obtained an average value of 82 with a percentage of completeness 83%. Thus, it was
concluded that using illustrated story media could improve the reading skills of grade 1 students at SD Negeri
Karangwetan Karangmojo.
