UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA PPT SISWA KELAS III DI SD NEGERI 1 BARUKAN

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to prove the use of PPT media in increasing the activity of 3rd graders at SD N 1
Barukan and to prove the use of PPT media in improving thematic learning outcomes of 3rd graders at SD N 1
Barukan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with 3 cycles. Each cycle has an action component,
namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were the third grade students of
SD N 1 Barukan with a total of 7 students. The object of this research is the activity and student learning outcomes
of thematic material. Data was collected through active observation and written tests. Data were analyzed by
qualitative descriptive analysis supported by quantitative data. The results showed that the use of PPT media can
increase student activity and learning outcomes in thematic material. The process can increase student activity,
students become brave enough to ask questions, answer questions, express opinions, and solve problems. The
results showed an increase in the average value of the pre-cycle class average for only cycle 1 of 61.4, cycle 2 of
70.0, and cycle 3 of 77.9.
