UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA MELALUI METODE BERMAIN PERAN

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to improve children's speaking skills through the role-playing method of group A
children in TK Pertiwi 2 Wilangan. This research method is classroom action research that follows the model of
Kemmis and Taggart which is carried out in three cycles. The subjects of this study were 15 children. The object
of this research is speaking skill through role playing method. Data collection techniques used are observation,
interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively, qualitatively and
quantitatively. The criteria for success in this study if the child's speaking ability has reached 81% to 100% with
very good criteria. The results showed that there was an increase in speaking skills through the role-playing
method in TK Pertiwi 2 Wilangan. The results of observations made during pre-action showed that the child's
speaking ability reached 20% with very low criteria, in Cycle I it increased to 33.3% with low criteria, and in
Cycle II it increased to 60% with sufficient criteria, in Cycle III it increased to reach 86.7% with very high
criteria.
