UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN MELALUI MEDIA KARTU HURUF PADA ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK TUNAS KARYA
Abstract
Kindergarten. This research is classroom action research (CAR). This research was carried out in three cycles
where each cycle consisted of one meeting. The stages in this research follow classroom action research
procedures, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation or observation, and (4) reflection. The
subjects in this study were teachers and students in Group B of Tunas Karya Kindergarten which consisted of 5
students consisting of 4 girls and 1 boy with an age range of 5-6 years. The results of this study indicate an
increase in learning outcomes. Before the action, the percentage was 20% and increased in the first cycle by 20%
so that it became 40%. In the second cycle there was an increase of 20% from the first cycle to 60% and the third
cycle increased by 40% to 80%. Thus, it can be concluded that the early reading ability of children in Group B
of Tunas Karya Kindergarten can be improved through the media of letter cards.
