MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KOSAKATA BAHASA INGGRIS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DENGAN GAME : CAR RACE

Abstract


Student’s ability to comrehend and communicate in English rely on their individual vocabulary mastery. The better
their vocabulary mastery, the better their english proficiency will become.Yet, the level of english vocabulary mastery
in 7th grade students in SMP Laboratorium UNIERA is still low. Therefore, this research is conducted to improve their
level of english vocabulary mastery through Problem Based Learning method to enhance Student-Centered Learning
using Game : Car Race. The research procedure in this research is an Classroom Action Research procedure starting
with Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. There are three cycles for the classroom action research.
The subject for the research is the 7th grade of SMP Laboratorium UNIERA first semester. Research data is gathered
through observation, interview and test. The result shows that using Problem Based Learning method to enhance
Student-Centered Learning using Game : Car Race is effective to improve english vocabulary for 7th grade students
in SMP Laboratorium UNIERA
