MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA TENTANG SATUAN KECEPATAN MELALUI KARTU PERMAINAN PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 27 SUNGAI LIMAU

Abstract


Based on the results of observations in learning Mathematics, it is known that student learning outcomes are still
low. This is due to several factors, including the low level of mastery of the subject matter, low student attention
to the learning process, the use of methods that are less varied, the absence of motivation that can provoke students
to be active, and the teacher's explanation is too fast. The purpose of this study was to analyze the increase in
students' mathematics learning outcomes about speed units through game cards for fifth grade students at SDN
27 Sungai Limau. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDN 27 Sungai Limau, totaling 21
students. Learning improvement research was conducted in two cycles with the following steps: planning,
implementation, observation, and reflection. And the results of data analysis found that student learning outcomes
showed a significant increase. In Cycle I, the average score of students was 63.81 with new learning completeness
reaching 61.90%. In Cycle II, the average score of students increased to 81.90 and learning completeness was
90.48%. And from the results of this data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of game cards in mathematics
learning about speed units can improve student learning outcomes
