Abstract

The creativity of students will be the answer to the challenges of 21st century learning where higher order thinking
skills are needed. This study aims to increase students' creativity in electrical energy materials through the Project
Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of 2
cycles, each of which has 2 meetings/activities in each cycle. Each cycle is carried out according to the stages of
CAR implementation, namely, action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of
the study were students of class VI UPTD Education Unit SDN Antirogo 04 Sumbersari District, Jember Regency,
totaling 12 students, consisting of 6 boys and 6 girls. The instrument used in data collection used observation and
assessment sheets for student creativity. Data analysis was made using descriptive qualitative percentage. The
indicators in this study are increased creativity, product quality and student learning completeness. The results of
the study indicate that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can increase students' creativity in
electrical energy material. This can be seen or proven by the increasing indicators of student creativity from cycle
I and cycle II, from 80.8% to 85.3%. The indicator for product quality increased from 89.6% in the first cycle to
91.9% in the second cycle. Students' learning mastery also increased, from 75% in the first cycle to 92% in the
