UPAYA MENGURANGI KESULITAN BELAJAR SELAMA DARING MELALUI LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK DENGAN METODE SOCRATES DIALOGE PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 4 PENUKAL UTARA TAHUN AJARAN 2021/2022

Abstract


This guidance and counseling action research was motivated by the difficulties of students in participating in
online learning activities during this covid 19 pandemic. students experience learning difficulties during online
learning, such as reduced interaction between teachers and students, inadequate internet access or signal, minimal
internet quota, students who do not have mobile phones to access online learning and students' understanding of
the material that is lacking. maximum, as well as the lack of parental assistance during online learning. If in this
condition students are not handled, it can interfere with the learning process of students and student learning
achievement will decrease. This study aims to reduce the difficulty of online learning for class IX students at SMP
Negeri 4 Penukal Utara through group guidance services using the Socratic dialogue method. The data collection
method in this study used a questionnaire and observation guidelines. This type of research is guidance and
counseling action research with two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and
reflection. The results showed that the students of SMP Negeri 4 Penukal Utara experienced a decrease in learning
difficulties in a better direction. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire and observations which
have a good decline in each cycle. In the first cycle, it showed that some students were able to reduce learning
difficulties while online. This can be interpreted that the group guidance service with the Socratic dialogue method
can already be felt by students. In the second cycle, it showed that group guidance services using the Socratic
dialogue method were able to reduce learning difficulties while online, which initially reached 70.375% in the
first cycle to 55.75% and had reached the minimum criteria set. Thus, it can be concluded that group guidance
services using the Socratic dialogue method can reduce learning difficulties while online for students at SMP
Negeri 4 Penukal Utara
