EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA POWERPOINT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMA 3 SUBTEMA 2 SD NEGERI GIRIREJO 2 KECAMATAN NGABLAK KABUPATEN MAGELANG

Abstract


Learning media as a tool to make it easier to achieve learning goals, should be made with a touch of technology
to make it more interesting and appropriate to the current era, namely the era of information technology. One of
the technologies that can be used to create learning media is the Powerpoint application which is the default
application of Microsoft Office. The use of Powerpoint media which can be made with a variety of animated
slideshow options is expected to attract the attention of students which in turn will have a significant impact on
student achievement. Based on field observations, 60% of the students in grade VI SD Negeri Girirejo 2 get
learning achievements below the KKM set by the teacher. This implies that most of the number of children have
not reached the minimum completeness. In addition, in the online learning process students are less active and
tend to avoid completing tasks given by the teacher. This research was carried out using 3 cycles. Each cycle is
carried out an assessment activity to look for differences starting from cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3. as follows, a.
Using powerpoint media can increase the achievement of KKM in learning Theme 3 Subtheme 2 in grade 6 as
evidenced by an increase from cycle I to cycle II by 12% and an increase from cycle II to cycle III by 25%. b.
Using powerpoint media can increase the average value of students, as evidenced by the increase in class average,
namely an increase from cycle I to cycle II by 2.0 and an increase from cycle II to cycle III by 8.0. Thus the results
of the study can be concluded that using powerpoint media can improve learning outcomes for Theme 3 Subtheme 2 in grade 6 SD Negeri Girirejo 2, Ngablak District, Magelang Regency.
