UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK HALUS ANAK MELALUI KEGIATAN KOLASE

Abstract


Fine motor skills in early childhood are children's expertise in controlling body movements using small
muscles, as well as eye and hand coordination. In fact, not all of his fine motor skills are well developed. The
most important step to overcome the problem of fine motor skills that are not yet optimal is to apply collage
activities in the learning process. Collage activities are one way to improve fine motor skills in early
childhood. This study aims to find out how the process of implementing collage activities in picking and
pinching using origami paper, controlling and seeds in improving children's fine motor skills and to find out
whether collage activities can improve fine skills in children. The subjects of this study were students of group
B aged 4-5 years at Dharma Wanita Dero Kindergarten. This research uses classroom action research. The
subjects of this study found 5 people. The treatment given to the subject is the use of collage activities. The
data used are through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of data analysis showed an
increase from Pre-cycle obtained an average value of 5%. Furthermore, in the first cycle obtained an average
value of 5%. And in the second cycle, the average value is 40%. Until the third cycle obtained an average of
80%. This means that the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Dharma Wanita Dero Kindergarten
receiving treatment have a significant increase. It can be seen from the fine motor skills of children after
treatment is better than before treatment.
