UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL KOSAKATA ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK AL I’DAD AN NUUR SLEMAN
Abstract
at Al I'dad An Nuur Kindergarten, Sleman, is a research aimed at improving the quality of learning at Al I'dad
An Nuur Kindergarten. This was done because the ability to recognize vocabulary children aged 5-6 years at Al
I'dad An Nuur Kindergarten had not developed well.
Vocal Maze Is A Children's Play Activity Developed By The Author Based On The Maze Game In General. This
Game Can Be Played Indoors And Can Be Played By 3 Or 4 Children. Through this Maze Game, it is hoped that
the child's ability to recognize vocabulary can increase, especially recognizing vocabulary starting with vowels.
Vocal Maze Game Consists Of Maze Board, Dice, Pawns, Word Cards And Stationery. Maze Boards Are Made
Of Cardboard Or Used Calendar Paper, Travel Patterns Are Made From The Start And Finish Point
(Destination). The starting point is a picture of an animal according to the theme and the finishing point is a
picture of the place where the animal is (cage) because the theme of the study at the time of the research was the
animal theme. Pawns are made from animal images according to the theme, made in 3 dimensions. The word
card prepared is a word card that begins with a vowel.
The way to play is the child throwing the dice, running the pawn with steps according to the number of dots that
appear on the dice after being thrown. The Pawn Walks On The Circle Inscribed With The Vowels A, I, U, E And
O. When The Pawn Stops The Child Is Asked To Take A Word Card In The Box According To The Symbol Of The
Vowel Letter Then Read It.
Through this game, students at Al I'dad An Nuur Kindergarten can improve their ability to recognize vocabulary,
especially vocabulary starting with vowels
