UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA POWER POINT DI KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR KENARAN 1 TAHUN PELAJARAN 2020/2021

Abstract


Based on the results of initial observations, students' motivation in implementing learning at SD Negeri Kenaran
1 is still low. The percentage of motivation in the high category of 33.33% means that the number of students who
have learning motivation with a percentage range of 69% - 80% as many as 5 out of 15 third grade students. The
learning motivation in the first cycle has not reached the success criteria. The purpose of this classroom action
research is to increase students' learning motivation in the third grade thematic learning at SD Negeri Kenaran 1
by using power point media. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in 2 cycles through the stages of
planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The learning motivation observation sheet is a tool used in
data collection and then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate an
increase in students' learning motivation in cycle 1, which is 33.33%, increasing to 60% in cycle 2 with an increase
of 26.67%. The conclusion that can be drawn from these results is that the application of power point learning
media can increase the learning motivation of SD Negeri Kenaran 1 students for the 2020/2021 academic year.
