MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PJB PADA SUBTEMA KEWAJIBAN DAN HAKKU SEBAGAI WARGA NEGARA KELAS III SDN KENARAN 3

Abstract


The low interest in learning of third grade students at SDN Kenaran 3 encourages researchers to conduct
classroom action research at SDN Kenaran 3. This study aims to increase student interest in learning using the
PjBL model on the sub-themes of My Obligations and Rights as Citizens of class III SDN Kenaran 3. This study
uses an approach classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects used were students of class III
SDN Kenaran 3 totaling 7 students. The data collection techniques used were observation and interest
questionnaires. The results showed an increase in learning interest in the sub-themes of My Obligations and
Rights as Citizens. Before the action was taken, the initial condition of the average interest in learning was 70
(quite interested) with a minimum percentage of students who were quite interested in 57.4%, after the action was
taken in the first cycle the average interest in learning was 71 (quite interested) with the percentage of the number
of students at least sufficient interested 71.42%, Cycle II average interest in learning 80 (interested) with a
minimum percentage of students who are quite interested in 100%. The conclusion of this study is that the PjBL
model has been empirically proven to increase the learning interest of third grade students at SDN Kenaran 3
Sleman.
