IMPLEMENTASI LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KLASIKAL MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN DALAM PROSES PEMILIHAN KARIR PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XII OTKP SMK NEGERI 1 NARINGGUL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2020/2021

Abstract


Today career problems have become a more important component of guidance and counseling services than in
the past. This is due to various changes in the world of work, especially in the 1970s. These changes include the
decreasing need for the world of work for workers who do not have skills, the increasing need for the world of
work for workers who are professional and have technical skills, the development of various types of work as a
result of the application of advanced technology, the development of industry in various regions, various types of
jobs. new jobs require new or different ways of service and handling from the previous handling, as well as the
increasing number of young workers in the world of work. This change is a separate obstacle for class XII students
in choosing a career. Seeing this phenomenon, an effort is needed to improve the understanding of class XII
students in carrying out the career selection process through classical guidance services with the Problem Based
Learning model. The method used in this research is Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) with two
cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. This PTBK is an action research conducted by Guidance and
Counseling teachers, using instruments in the form of observation sheets and career selection questionnaires. The
data analysis technique in this study is the pattern match technique as developed by Robert K. Yin for observation
data and percentage descriptive statistical techniques for data analysis on the success of guidance and counseling
services. The indicator of success in this study is the level of understanding of students in the career selection
process > 75%. The results of this study were that in the first cycle the level of understanding of five students was
still > 75%, then continued in the second cycle by making improvements from the reflection results in the first
cycle. In the second cycle, more significant results were obtained, namely 13 people from 14 people. students have
reached a level of understanding in the career selection process > 75%
