PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SD MUHAMMADIYAH 1 ALTERNATIF KOTA MAGELANG

Abstract


The pandemic period due to the outbreak of Coronavirus Diseases 2019 (Covid-19) has changed the education
system. The learning in school must be replaced by online learning. One of the learning models that can be applied
is project based learning. This learning model is useful for increasing activity, motivation, and learning outcomes,
because it provides many projects that must be done by students. This research method is Classroom Action
Research, with the subject of students class V Abu Musa Al Asy'ari SD Muhammadiyah 1 Alternative.
The results of the research show: (1) after the action in cycle 1 and cycle 2, students learning motivation can
increase. (2) student learning outcomes showed an increase, the initial ability of students at pretest with scores
above 75 was 54%, in cycle 1 it became 77%, and cycle 2 became 89%. (3) the average score of students has
increased, the average pretest was 71.4, in the first cycle evaluation it became 79.4, and in the second cycle it
became 87.1. Based on these results, student learning outcomes with the application of project based learning
models increase.
