MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERHITUNG SISWA MELALUI MEDIA PIPA PINTAR

Abstract


The problem that arises in this research is how to improve numeracy skills through smart pipe media. This study
aims to describe the application of smart pipe media to improve early childhood numeracy skills through smart
pipe media which is carried out in 3 cycles. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), with the research
subjects being 5 children in group B of TK Ma'arif NU Baitussalam Lamongan for the academic year 2021 - 2022.
The implementation of this research was carried out in 3 cycles where in each cycle there were 4 stages consisting
of (1) Planning (2) Action Implementation (3) Observation (4) Reflection. Collecting data using observation
techniques and processed through qualitative descriptive techniques. Thus, based on the analysis of the results
and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of smart pipe media can improve students' numeracy skills
at TK Ma'arif NU Baitussalam Lamongan, with the achievement of completeness or learning success reaching
100%. It is recommended for kindergarten teachers to use smart pipe media to improve the numeracy skills of
kindergarten age children (group B).
