Gamification and Islamic Spiritual Intelligence as an Islamic Business Strategy for MSMEs

Abstract


Introduction to The Problem: MSME businesses face a change in the economic order with problems that occur in the activities and performance of human resources.

Purpose/Objective Study: This study investigates whether the application of Islamic gamification and spiritual intelligence strategies can strengthen MSMEs' business as a driving strategy for economic recovery against human resources.

Design/Methodology/Approach: Design using qualitative strategies through literature studies and in-depth interviews. Data is managed with explorative-oriented techniques and uses Nvivo 12 application through exploration of the meaning of the study review and interpreted into descriptive explanations. Hasil review will generate a percentage that shows the role of each contribution with a total percentage of 100%. This research sample is an MSME business with a retrieval sample based on convenience sampling.

Findings: The elegy of Islamic gamification and spiritual intelligence is defined as a person's belief in awareness of the ability of his activity and performance. Some of the elements used in this research have explained that gamification strategy and spiritual intelligence can strengthen MSMEs business by increasing motivation, commitment, productivity, and satisfaction with a total percentage of 100%. The application of faith and taqwa becomes the most dominant element of intelligence, and there is an element of Islamic spiritual intelligence that will support through gamification strategies such as honest and trust business planning, case studies that fathanah and tabligh, discipline and visionary online simulations, and games that look at moral values and empathy. Another finding is that motivation can develop the most dominant entrepreneurial mindset using reward, productivity, satisfaction, and commitment. In addition, creative and innovative knowledge and skills are also needed in generating high productivity by utilizing leaderboards, points, rewards, and challenges. Applying gamification to knowledge and skills will foster satisfaction in the points element and commitment to the challenge element. Therefore, the implementation of gamification and spiritual intelligence of Islam is considered capable of increasing motivation, satisfaction, commitment, and productivity to human resources in the face of pandemic times.
