MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS ARGUMENTASI MELALUI MEDIA CETAK BROSUR BAGI PENUTUR ASING TINGKAT MADYA

Abstract


Writing this thesis is motivated by the lack of foreign students learning outcomes in the Indonesian language course. This research aims to improve the skill of foreign students in language Indonesian. Improving the skills of foreign students to master Indonesian language skill is quite difficult, because of the differences skill in the language they control. Proper use of the media can improve their language skill, especially writing skill. This research was conducted in FIP of UMJ by implementing action research which is divided into two cycles, each cycle held two meetings. Research data obtained from observation, test, documentation. The success criteria of action can be determined by the increase of value. This is shown in the improvement of each aspect of assessment in writing argumentation. The use of custom print brochure learning media on the skill of writing argumentation can improve the result of argumentation writing skill from 61.50 increase in cycle one to 76.00. The score rose again in cycle two to 80.33. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the use of print media of traditional brochures is successful and able to improve argumentation writing skill in UMJ of Thaliland student.
