EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN BIPA MELALUI PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL DALAM PEMAHAMAN SASTRA LAMPUNG “PEPACCUR”

Abstract


The learning of Bahasa Indonesia for foreign speakers needs special attention by the teacher. Learning Bahasa Indonesia for foreign speakers is not easy, because it is not their mother tongue. Therefore, learning BIPA needs effective approach. One of the approaches in learning BIPA is contextual. To improve the interest of foreign speakers and make BIPA not monotonous, it needs to connect with literature understanding, Lampung literature “Pepaccur” in particular. This research aims to recognize and describe the effectiveness in learning BIPA with contextual approach in understanding Lampung literature “Pepaccur”. This research belongs to descriptive qualitative. This research uses oral and written test to collect data. This research applies descriptive method to analyze the data. This research shows the result that contextual approach in understanding Lampung literature “Pepaccur” improves the effectiveness of learning BIPA. Based on the analysis, the ability of foreign speakers to apply Bahasa Indonesia with contextual approach in Lampung literature “Pepaccur” is good with the average score 78.
