Pengembangan Belajar Kognitif Menggunakan Media Bowling Pada Anak Usia Dini

Abstract


Learning activities for the development of cognitive learning are still low and have not been done optimally, the method used in general teaching and learning activities is by lecturing in front of the class in explaining the material and still using the school worksheet. So that this affects the low cognitive abilities of children. To develop cognitive early childhood, it still needs to be improved. Understanding of children in cognitive is very far in achieving the development stage that is in accordance with the age of development.
Learning methods to develop children's cognitive abilities can be done using various media games, one of which is bowling. This needs to be discussed, because children's cognitive abilities are very influential on aspects of development.
According to Jean Peaget the child turned out to be not an adult replica miniature, children's thinking is not the same as adult thinking, Yuliani Nurani Sujiono, et al (2007: 3.5) children actively build their cognitive world, information is not merely poured into the mind they are from the environment, a child through a series of stages. Bowling media games can hone the ability to develop cognitive early childhood.
Through media bowling, it is expected that children can learn more fun, can recognize numbers more easily, produce game arrangements that are in accordance with the characteristics of children and develop intellectual abilities in counting numbers, children can learn interesting and efficient.
